MDM-CRM Azure ACS Configuration Error
We were recently working on configuring the connector to link Dynamics Marketing (MDM) and Dynamics CRM (CRM) for a customer, but kept running into an error when entering the Microsoft Azure ACS values.
The error was “An error has occurred while performing administrative operation”.
In MDM, go to Settings, Integration Options. Select the Service Bus Configuration icon, enter the Azure Namespace, then press the “->Configure Azure ACS” button.
After entering the details and pressing OK, you see the following error:
When looking at the Connector Log file (from the Settings, Integration Options page), we found the following snippet:
“The certificate specified by the key ServiceBusAcsServiceIdentityCertificateThumbprint could not be found.”
It turned out that we hit a known back end issue (after logging the case with Microsoft), which they escalate to the back end team to resolve.
