What is a Custom App?
The Custom App engagement is where we build and sell you a custom App for Dynamics 365 for a monthly fee. Instead of buying Dynamics 365 licenses from your current provider you buy our App instead. There is a minimum term of 12 months in order to cover all the up-front costs in building the App.
In this model we would hope to charge a similar rate as the Dynamics 365 Professional or Enterprise Apps, but sometimes we must charge a little extra.
In addition, we require you to also purchase our Level 2 Support Agreement at $25+GST per user per month. This will ensure that your custom App will continue to work as your requirements change.
You get to decide what the App will do, you decide on all functionality – we offer you a single monthly price for all of it.
Apps built using Power Apps provide rich business logic and workflow capabilities to transform your manual business operations into digital, automated processes. What’s more, apps built using Power Apps have a responsive design and can run seamlessly in browser and on mobile devices (phone or tablet).

Using Power Apps, you can quickly build custom business apps that connect to your data stored either in the underlying data platform (Microsoft Dataverse) or in various online and on-premises data sources (such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, and so on).

Before we can start the custom App engagement, we need to run detailed requirements gathering sessions, as well as spend time designing how your overall system should really be working. We need to fully understand all your CRM requirements as well as gather a deep understanding of your business and what it expects from the CRM. These sessions involve meetings with your key stakeholders to make sure we understand what you are really trying to achieve. In addition, we need to spend time on design up-front so we can give the best solution based on all your requirements. However, these requirements gathering/design session come at a cost depending upon how many sessions are required, and how complex your overall requirements are.
The outcome of these sessions will determine the cost of your custom App.
