ProVision is the largest network of independent optometrists in Australia with a community of 450 practices. ProVision supports their member optometrists by providing them with business services to help them remain competitive and profitable. This includes leveraging the collective buying power of practices for optical products including frames, lenses, contact lenses and equipment. Provision also provides expertise and support services in retail, marketing, education, business systems, business development and finance.
Challenge and Solutions
ProVision encountered a significant challenge in integrating sales data for their Member Practices into Microsoft Dynamics CRM, essential for their sales team to deliver business services effectively. However, the conventional method of importing this data into CRM proved both costly and time-consuming.
To address this issue, Total CRM proposed a comprehensive solution, by developing Power BI tailored reports. These reports would extract sales data directly from ProVision’s SQL database, allowing for seamless integration with CRM Practice records. This innovative approach not only provided a cost-effective alternative but also saved substantial time for ProVision’s sales team.
