Mitre 10 was formed in 1959 and is part of the Independent Hardware Group. Mitre 10 is a large player in the Australian home improvement and hardware industry. They are Australia’s largest independent home improvement and hardware wholesaler to the industry with over 300 stores.
Challenge and Solutions
Mitre 10 first used Dynamics 365 as part of a Proof of Concept. Through this, it was decided to commence with Dynamics 365 as the platform moving forward, however significant changes were required. Total CRM was engaged to re-design and re-develop the solution for full production use.
In the re-development, new custom tables were created to better manage quotes, build sites and customer management. Other significant modifications included refinements of the user interface, provisioning of additional information to the store representatives and management, new custom reports and automation of business processes.
